Manchester United's Berbatov Scores Hat Trick Over Liverpool

Dimitar berbatov went some way to repaying his £30 million price tag on Sunday.

His hat trick gave Manchester Untied all three points in their victory over archrivals Liverpool.

2-0 up should have meant United were home and dry, but a penalty which was converted by Gerrard, along with an excellent free kick on the edge of the box, meant United were pegged back to 2-2. That would have been a travesty, and Berbatov made it 3-2 with a header in the final minutes. The 2nd goal of a his, an overhead kick, was wonderful, stunning, breathtaking - call it what you will.  United needed this win, and they really deserved it.
