Spurs No Chance With Ferdinand Move

Spurs made a discreet move for England captain Rio Ferdinand, but didn't get far with it.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson made it clear to Tottenham that Ferdinand is not for sale.

Meanwhile, in their match against West Ham United, Manchester United produced a clinical performance against the Hammers. Wayne Rooney scored his first goal for 5 months from a penalty kick to give United the lead. Nani’s brilliant run gave United a 2-0 lead in the 50th minute and a Berbatov volley made it 3-0 in the 69th minute.
