Owen Scores Hat Trick in United`s Win Against Wolfsburg

At age 29 no way is Michael Owen over the hill, judging by his performance in Germany.

Owen`s hat-trick against Wolfsburg resulted in a 3-1 victory to put Manchester United top of  Champions League Group B.

Owen has now scored seven goals for United since his free transfer from Newcastle back in July. The amazing thing is that United needed just a point from this game, but typically they wouldn`t settle for anything less than a win. That`s despite the fact the team was without most of their first choice defenders, with  just one recognised defender, Patrice Evra, able to take part.
