Manchester United & Real Madrid Favourites to Sign Valencia

Wigan Athletic`s chairman, Dave Whelan, has made it known that Antonio Valencia will decide whether to join Manchester United or Real Madrid when he gets back from holiday tomorrow.

Offers in the region of £14-18m have been made for the 23-year-old. One report suggests that Manchester United are ready to include Portugal international winger Nani as part of any deal.

Whelan has made it clear that the player himself has the final say as to where he will move to.
