Dimitar Berbatov scored his first goal for the Reds

Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes were both injured in the 3-0 Champions League victory over Aalborg in Denmark last night. Paul Scholes was carried off with knee ligament damage in the 11th minute while star-striker Wayne Rooney hobbled off in the second-half of the 3-0 win with an ankle problem.

On the plus side for United, Cristiano Ronaldo completed his first full 90 minutes. And, Dimitar Berbatov scored his first goal for the club. In fact he scored twice, Rooney scored the other one.
