Porto Beaten By United 3 - 1

In the Amsterdam Cup Manchester United have just beaten Porto 3-1.

Rooney was red-carded at the end of the 1st half, and not long in to the 2nd half Scholes was given a red card (or 2nd yellow) for a foul from behind. The 1st sending off was controversial as Rooney looked bemused at his marching orders. Scholes`s however was fully justified.

Pity about Scholes, he`d only just been handed the captain`s armband by Giggs when Giggs was substituted.
