Nani Relishing Portuguese Link-Up At United

Manchester United's new Portuguese signing Nani has spoken of his excitement at joining the Premiership champions, and is looking forward to winning a place in the United first team alongside fellow Portuguese-speakers Anderson and Cristiano Ronaldo.

United signed Nani from Sporting Clube de Portugal and Brazilian playmaker Anderson from Porto in a £30 million double swoop.

And Nani has Uefa's official website that he can't wait to link up with fellow Portuguese international Ronaldo, as well as Anderson.

"At least I'll have them to speak Portuguese with and they will be important especially in the initial period of adapting to a different country," he said.

"As for the three of us playing together, it would be great to play alongside them but that's up to the coaches to decide.

"They are two of the best players I know so it's a privilege to have them as club-mates.
